PERIOD 8 Math UPDATE:
Hi ALL,
Period 8 math will be heading into lessons 5-8 and reviewing the whole chapter (lessons 1-8). The chapter assessment is projected for October 5th or 6th. I will update the HW calendar for next week today. I've also been looking into how families can access the online book for homework support. Stay tuned.
The class has been lovely! They are so hardworking and have some great strategies to share. Do not hesitate to email if you have any questions at all.

Next week period 4 will work on lessons 8 and 9. We will review on Wed, 9/30 and plan to have the Chapter 1 Place Value Test on Thursday, 10/1. I've updated the HW calendar next week to prepare for the concluding lessons. I also gave out a list of IXL skills and students are responsible for doing highlighted ones only, and work for no more than 20 minutes. They can work on it if class work is finished, during enrichment, and for homework, if the homework sheet was done during the school day. Please don't hesitate to email if you have any questions.

One Week From Today... :)
As we approach our first day of school I wanted to send out a friendly message of reminders. I'm so excited to see you all again next week! Hope you had a fantastic summer!
Please remember as much of your supplies as you can for the first day, if not, by the end of the week works, too. Always remember to get a good night's sleep, read 20-30 mins/day, and eat a healthy breakfast before you begin each day.
Parents, PLEASE email a quick hello so I can add your email to my contacts, it's not on Powerschool yet.
