MATH OPPORTUNITIES :)
Good evening families!
As the year unfolds before us we all have so much to be reflective upon. There's certainly ups and downs in any year but I'd like to look at it as all learning experiences. Warm wishes to you all this holiday season and always.
This message is in regards to math and providing a varied of opportunities for all students. PLEASE save this blog post to access throughout the remainder of the year.
Below are three documents that I hope will do just that. These videos, ixl skills, braingenie, and other collected videos, are accessible for students at any point. This is a compilation of ways to review for students who need their math skills sharpened, and for those who need to continue to feel challenged within standards.
Students were also given IXL and Tenmarks login in the fall to supplement the daily lessons. Please take advantage of those memberships and contact me at any time if you have trouble logging in. Students are provided with individual skills to work on in Tenmarks. Please let me know if you have any questions and/or other suggestions to best meet the needs of your child.

Brunch Thursday, 12/22
Hi All,
We're hosting a Geikie/Karlonas students' Team Brunch on Thurs, 12/22 @ 10:30am.
We realize it's a hectic time of year, but if at all possible, please send in something for everyone to share. Here's a sign up of brunch items. In the past students have brought in muffins, donuts, fruit, quiche, sides of bacon, chips/salsa, plates, drinks, etc. It should be fun.

SS: Age of Exploration Mini Project Due Wed, 12/21 (Done during school)
Students began a new unit today on European Exploration. Choose from this list of explorers. Everyone will be assigned an explorer to research and create a Trading Card on that explorer. This is Due Wednesday 12/21.
