Using Khan Academy with NWEA scores :)
All-
We will be using this during math and WIN time but I wanted to share with families on how to also access from home. This is completely optional, however, allows students to take initiative and accountability for their scores.
Thanks for your continued support,
Mrs. Karlonas

Happy First Day of 5th Grade!
We had a great first day! Grades 5-8 started out with an all school welcome assembly by Mr. Eastman and Mr. Perley. Students went to their Allied Arts and Spanish classes. Following snack, students had a homeroom meeting where we established what a respectful class looks like and decided on some words to describe how this year will be. In pairs, they went around the building on a scavenger hunt. After lunch, they met their LA/Sci teacher Mrs. Geikie. She's asked they bring in a magazine and their summer reading book tomorrow. We finished the day with another AA/WL period and W.I.N. (what I need). Students organized their supplies and locker, went for a walk, visited the library or worked on a class puzzle. It was such a GREAT first day! :) Please email me if you have any questions. Mrs. Karlonas :)
