I just learned about the Andrew Luck Book Club. While recovering from surgery during the 2017 NFL season, quarterback Andrew Luck focused on developing his Book Club for both "rookie" and "veteran" readers.

The website uses monthly book selections, social media, and podcasts to drive literacy discussions with students, fans, and authors, with a goal of motivating reluctant readers.

REMINDER for APPROPRIATE RECESS WEAR :)

Students will go out to RECESS EVERY DAY.  

They need to wear/bring the following EVERY DAY: 

• Winter coat 
• hat 
• gloves 
• boots/snow pants (when ground is snowy/wet) 

Students are NOT allowed to stay in for recess if they do not have the appropriate clothing.

Please help hungry families and donate cans to the FOOD DRIVE called STUFF THE BUS that CEMS Student Council is putting on.  The homeroom with the most food donations wins a pizza party (even though it's not about that ;)
