Decimals & Lifeboats

Happy Sunday! It's another gorgeous fall day! We are so lucky to be able to perform our science labs outside this month. The first one we experimented with was Lifeboats. Ask your fiver what it was all about. Next, up is testing Flipper Systems (catapults). Again, we will take advantage of these labs to learn about fair or controlled tests. These tests test one variable at a time. Students were eager and engaged to try it. They collected data and discussed results. True scientists!
